All 8 Ivy League Universities are now co-ed. Cornell has admitted women since it opened in 1870. The others (Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Brown, Dartmouth, University of Pennsylvania, & Columbia) began doing the same between 1946 & 1983.
However, 5 of the Seven Sisters (Barnard, Byrn Mawr,
Mount Holyoke, Smith, & Wellesley) continue to remain for women only. It took Vassar until 1969 to admit men. And Radcliffe did not admit men until 1977. Once again, the equality which Feminists crave is strictly a one-way street. Equality for women does not necessarily mean equality for men.
Or as George Orwell pointed out in Animal Farm: All animals are equal. But some animals are more equal than others.
