  • John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Born again? Why would Jesus say that to Nicodemus in response to verses 1&2?

“There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.”

To understand the true meaning of how Christ answered we go to the original Greek to confirm the translation.

Born was translated from the Greek ‘γεννฮฌω’ and a more accurate translation is to beget, meaning to procreate as the father.

The word translated as ‘again’ is translated from the Greek word ‘แผ„νωθεν’, and the more accurate translation is from above, from heaven.

Put this together and now it makes sense. “…Except a man ‘is procreated as only the Father in heaven can do’, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Why? Because no one can see the face of God and live in our body of flesh and blood, but we can in our resurrected body created by God. Everyone will be resurrected and judged, (Rev 20:12-13).

If we continue reading John 3, then Christ confirms that we must be reborn of water and spirit. He explains that on earth we are born of a woman (flesh), but our second resurrected body will be born of the Spirit, not of a woman, but of the Father in heaven.

The verse does not mean the moment you become a believer you are reborn, as so many preachers preach. It says that we can only see the kingdom of God in our resurrected bodies.

So what does happen the moment we believe God at his word? We are sealed by the Holy Spirit, namely the Spirit of Christ. That is salvation and eternal life.

I hope this helps in your Bible study.

  • Something the LORD gave me yesterday and I thought to share it with you. I posted on FB too.

"There comes a shaking and quaking that has never been before, nor since the beginning. The enemies shall surround Jerusalem and judgment shall fall around the earth. Such weeping, thou hast never heard. Prepare for the great battle for it is coming when the righteous shall be righteous still, and the wicked shall be wicked still. I say prepare."
Well, people, there ya go...take it or leave it.

  • The Holy Spirit

In the Book of Mark, in chapter 3, Jesus Christ healed the hand of a man on the Sabbath. Because Jesus did such things on the Sabbath, they accused Jesus Christ of serving Beelzebub and devils, and that Jesus Christ had an unclean spirit.
Mark 3:30: “ And the scribes which came down from Jerusalem said, He hath Beelzebub, and by the prince of the devils casteth he out devils.”

This Christ responded with the parable of that a house divide cannot stand. And ended with:
Mark 3:28-29 “Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme: But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation.”

So why did Jesus end that parable with the Holy Ghost? They accused Jesus and not the Holy Ghost of violating the Sabbath, of being unclean, of having an unclean Spirit.

So now we enter into the area where many think the one God is made of three individuals. So the answer must confirm that the third person of “the Trinity” is the Holy Spirit. A heated debate for sure, but what does the Bible say?

Ah, the Bible reveals the answer to that parable, specifically to the one who possesses the Holy Spirit in
Verse 30: Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.

Who is he in verse 30? Jesus Christ! The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Christ, and who is Christ?

Jesus Christ is the Father! That is what Jesus said, and I believe it (and all of scripture).
John 14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?

    Believe God.

  • Science always lags behind the truth of God.
Race is an example of a man made lie.
This is what the Bible says about Race:
    Acts 17:26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

This verse is part of the passage where Paul is speaking to mockers, and he ends this thought by saying that all humanity is the offspring of God. (We were made in the image of God also confirms this).
Acts 17:28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

Understand this: Race is a lie that has caused so much damage and segregation to this day. It is the design and deception of Satan, embraced by evil people. Reject the lie of race. We all have a common ancestor, God himself. We all belong to one race, the human race.
