We failed to properly identify our enemy 24 years ago.
We were not attacked by the Taliban or al-Qaida or Boko Haram or al-Shabaab or ISIS or the al-Aqsa Martyr's Brigade or Hezbollah or Hamas.
We were attacked by, & are still at war with, Islam - whether we want to acknowledge it or not.
