Caitlin Clark is getting paid based on what the leagues players prior to her have earned. The good news is that if she performs well the players that come after her will see a bump in salary as she increase the overall value of TV deals, ticket sales and other marketing ploys to increase revenue. She’s also going to make more in endorsements then her teammates and I doubt anyone will complain if she doesn’t share it equally with each of them.
