Do not confuse envy with jealousy. Envy is the desire to take possession of something that isn't yours, or to deprive someone else of what is rightfully theirs. Marx spoke of Class Envy, & Freud spoke of Penis Envy. Neither spoke or wrote about Class or Penis Jealousy.
