The obsolete and politically motivated out-of-Africa theory has run into significant problems in light of genetic findings derived from modern human and archaic DNA sequencing and persistent gaps (missing links) in the hominin fossil record, as put forth by anthropologist Robert Sepehr.


Genetic evidence reveals that ancestors of modern Sub-Saharan African populations interbred with a super-archaic hominin species that predates the split between modern humans, Neanderthals, and Denisovans, contributing up to 19% of their genetic ancestry, but is not found in the DNA of present day Asians or Caucasians.


The "Out of Africa" theory is the most widely accepted model of the geographic origin and early migration of anatomically modern humans. It proposes a "single origin" of Homo sapiens in Africa, which then allegedly populated the rest of the world by replacing all other hominins and mutating or evolving into the various races that comprise modern day humanity.
