The WNBA has become the perfect sports metaphor for Feminism. They complain that they aren't paid as much as the players in the NBA. But for starters, they play a shorter season: 82 games versus 44 games. Most importantly, in its 1st 28 years of existence, the WNBA has lost money. And there is no reason to think that their 29th year will finally at least break even. The NBA covers their financial loses, to the tune of $10 to $40 million each year. The WNBA needs the NBA in the same way as women in general need men.

Yet Feminism tells women that they must forsake their roles as wives & mothers in order to give their all to a corporate career. You would think that they would at least be consistent.
