DOVER PORT BLOCKADED AS MASKED PROTESTERS BRING TRAFFIC TO A STANDSTILL


Masked protesters demonstrating against Channel migrant crossings have blocked roads leading to the Port of Dover, causing major disruption for travellers and ferry passengers.


Queues stretched for miles, with passengers warned they could miss their ferries as access to the port was disrupted. Kent Police say they are responding to the public-order incident.


The protesters were reportedly chanting “Stop the boats” and “Send them back”.
